Problem Solving
1. Why does a plant have cell membrane as well as a cell wall?
2. Does a cell show any sign of a living? What kind of process happening inside a cell wall? Is the living process happening in animal cells different from that in plant ones? Explain!
3. Use your knowledge about cell to explain how a single cellular organisms can survive? What are the advantages and disadvantages of multicellular?
Answer:
1. Because, the body shape is permanent and steady
2. Yes, because the cell has many process of a living such as excretion, breath, reproduction, produce energy and distribute substance to the cell.
The process inside a cell wall is transportation of water from the outside to the inside of cell. Yes, the process happening in animal and plant cells is different. The different is, Animal don’t have Chloroplast, but, Plant cell have Chloroplast, so, in chloroplast, photosynthesis process is happening.
3. A cell can survive because cell can produce the energy from Mitochondria, can excretion in Golgi complex, and distribute substances to the cell.
The advantages of multicellular is if the one cell is death or damages, the other cell can maintain the living of cell with replace the damage cell with the new cell.
The disadvantages is the multicellular need more energy to maintain the cell living, that mean is need more food.
